It’s up to you how short you want to go with a tapered cut. If you love the height your curls give you in the crown, leave them! Or you can go shorter all around. This style is a great intro to short hair and is very easy to maintain with wash n’ gos and/or rod sets.
Short and straight:
Pixies and bobs are solid options if you prefer a straight style with a little bounce. If you have naturally curly hair, be prepared to straighten your hair regularly to maintain this look.

Short braids or twists are such a chic protective style. Also, bob length braids take a fraction of the time to install. So if you’re short on time or can’t sit still for a long time, this style is a win-win.
